Job Description
HIM Coder/Abstractor needed in Honolulu, HI.
16 week travel assignment with unlimited extension eligibility.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A. Education/Certification and Licensure:
1.Knowledge of ICD-9-CM and CPT4/HCPCS coding required.
2.Ability to speak, read, write and understand English both orally and in writing.
3.Current Certified Coding Specialist(CCS) required.
B. Experience:
1.At least three (3) years experience in coding/abstracting.
2.Must be able to use computerized medical records system.
3.EPIC experience highly preferred.
