Registered Nurse - RN - Registered Nurse - RN - Registered Nurse - RN Job Description: Hawaiian based medical center is actively seeking Intensive Care / ICU/ Critical Care RNs for both 12hr Day/Night Shifts with weekends and call starting immediately. Selected registered nurses should have 2-3 years of recent hospital or clinic experience, strong Intensive Care / Critical Care experience (various levels), up to date with computer charting, be team oriented and be flexible with shifts/scheduling/weekend rotations. Intensive Care / Critical Care RN - Registered Nurse - RN - Health Care Job Responsibilities: As an Intensive Care Nurse you will learn and implement the latest medical technologies and perform evaluations of test results to provide the best possible patient care. Additional responsibilities for the ICU RN include: - Working with life support machines, cardiac monitoring systems, ventilators, feeding tubes and other life preserving medical equipment - Observing the patient's heart rate, blood pressure and respiration for signs of distress - Administering IVs, bringing medication and inserting catheters as needed Intensive Care / Critical Care RN - Registered Nurse - RN - Health Care
