Your role as the Surgical Assistant serves as an assistant to the surgeon during surgical procedures and carries out instructions, as trained. Assists surgeon in performing safe operations with optimum results for patients. Requirements Minimum Qualifications: High School or equivalent. Completion of Surgical Assistant program or training. Certified Surgical Assistant. Current BLS/HCP card. Preferred: One year surgical assistant or technologist experience.
