Description:
This is a new Business Development opportunity to support the 9th Mission Support Command (MSC) G6 Army Reserve Network:Hawaii with multiple locations throughout the Pacific This is Life Cycle Replacement and CAPR Management. The Contract start date is estimated to be 1 October xxxx.
Must have a current US Secret security clearance.
Telecommunications and Tactical Satellite Communications Support
RESPONSIBILITIES:
: Manage the enterprise telephone network throughout the 9th MSC and Army Reserve Pacific, consisting of Nortel 81C switch (Fort Shafter Flats) and Nortel 11C switches at remote sites. The 9th MSC is scheduled to convert to digital voice:over:IP (VOIP) and Voice over Secure Internet Protocol (VoSIP) technology by xxxx; must be able to assist with the VOIP and VoSIP migration, to include provide management services.
: Operate and maintain telephone switches, remote switches, nodes and PBXs and maintain an inventory of the PBX phone lines on the Fort Shafter Flats campus
: Support upgrades and modify telephone switches, remote switches, nodes, and PBXs
: Perform enterprise level management of the Nortel 81C switch, to include startup/shutdown procedures, backup and restore procedures, and operation of the PUELO battery system
: Perform voice mail box service to include Call Pilot system (voice mail and directory services) and Integrated Voice Messaging System (IVMS)/Call Management system
: Support, manage, and maintain common:user infrastructure supporting voice, video and data (e.g., cabling, equipment, and components)
: Support, manage, and maintain installation and maintenance services for mission:specific requirements; inspect, manage, and maintain Telecom closets
: Maintain secure voice assets, to include STE, Iridium, SECTERA Wire Line, SECTERA vIPer, INMARSAT, OMNIxi; conduct monthly communication inspections to validate and report operational status
: Provide recommendations for modifications and improvements to existing systems
: Conduct site surveys for product implementation
: Provide Tactical Satellite Communications Support. Support and maintain operational SATCOM activities and resources supporting the 9th MSC and its remote locations in Saipan, Guam, and American Samoa. The Deployable Digital Training Campus (DDTC) provides the 9th MSC the ability to provide command and control and stable lines of communication in the USPACOM AOR. It also provides an alternate means of communications during a natural disaster or civil emergency in the event cellular and/or landline communications are disabled.
: Provide operation and maintenance of SATCOM activities including the operation of DDTC
: Receive, review, and process Satellite Access Request/ Ground Access Request (SAR/GAR)
: Provide SAR/GAR account training to new subscribers, as requested
: Provide frequency and SATCOM management SME during contingency, exercise and day:to:day operations; provide administration and technical support for military operations
: Provide guidance and procedures for pre/post:conflict spectrum management transitions in accordance with established Operational Plans and Annexes
: Maintain, manage, and operate DDTC satellite terminal, to include configuration of SATCOM frequencies
: Provide tracking of spectrum applications and requests
: Provide situational awareness monitoring and shortfall awareness of all SATCOM resources by utilizing Collaboration Tools and monitoring Satellite Databases
: Provide current status and shortfall reports, as requested, within pre:established timelines and advise staff on operational status of SATCOM system/networks
: Maintain, review and validate all applicable satellit
